Strengthening the exchange and cooperation in poverty alleviation and sharing experience in poverty alleviation for common development is one of the major contents of further enhancing China-Africa community of common destiny. Subsidy for poor students worth 1.31 million yuan was granted by Naqu County, Tibet Autonomous Region. A total of 15.6 million yuan fiscal expenditure has been allocated by Shanxi Province to support the basic surveying and mapping measures in impoverished counties. On September 17, Chongqing Banking Regulatory Bureau released news that Chongqing will make sure that full coverage of rural basic financial service be achieved in 1,919 poverty-stricken villages by 2017. “The one-million worth project of poverty alleviation through medical aid” kicked off at Lankao County, as a result of the concerted efforts by the central hospital of Lankao County and the township health center. According to the project, county and township medical institutions shall raise at least one million yuan to help those who fall into poverty due to illness. Meanwhile, five health-worker teams will be organized by the Lankao central hospital to select households who are impoverished due to illness and those with left behind children, women and elderly people who live in hardship because of illness, and offer special funding and assistance to them.

One hundred poor middle school students received subsidies from the Overseas Foundation for Poverty Alleviation of Jiangxi Provincial People’s Political Consultative Conference. The Overseas Foundation for Poverty Alleviation of Jiangxi Provincial People’s Political Consultative Conference financed poor students to go to school. The subsidy-granting ceremony “Realizing Your University Dream” was held in Kunming on September 15th.
