Guangdong and Sichuan have signed the Framework Agreement on Poverty Alleviation through Tourism to deepen the tourism support on the battle against poverty. Lately, Sichuan Tourism Development Committee and Guangdong Tourism Administration have signed the Sichuan-Guangdong Framework Agreement on Poverty Alleviation through Tourism. The Agreement includes strengthening cooperation on tourism industry, talents exchange and marketing, carrying out public welfare program, and improving the joint mechanism of poverty alleviation cooperation. It will further advance poverty alleviation in Sichuan province, deepen the tourism support on poverty alleviation and start a new chapter of the poverty alleviation through tourism cooperation between Sichuan and Guangdong.

Qinghai Province promotes poverty alleviation on the internet and strives for a 98% coverage of villages with the fiber-optic network by the end of 2018. In recent years, Qinghai Province has laid efforts on poverty alleviation on the internet and concluded 3,180 administrative villages into the scale of telecom services. By the end of last year, in Qinghai, the coverage of fiber-optic broadband has been raised from 55.54% in 2015 to 67.47%, with an average network speed of 50M in pilot villages, which has far exceeded the required speed of 12M. It is introduced that there will be a 98% coverage of administrative villages with fiber network by the end of 2018.

Guizhou Province: By 2020, the work of poverty alleviation through forest tourism will lift more than 100,000 people out of poverty. To promote the full-area tourism and the construction of ecological pilots, and to explore the potential of the forest with the maximum limit, Guizhou government has issued Opinions on Fastening the Development of Forest Tourism, proposing that Guizhou would speed up the forest tourism and by 2020, the comprehensive revenue of forest tourism will reach over 300 billion RMB, with more than 100,000 poor people shaking off poverty.

Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has implemented strict supervision and examination of the three systems for poverty alleviation.
